A Promising Plan for 2016
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Ahhh. Isn’t it a rewarding feeling to have knowing that the Lord wants the best for our lives? He even says it in his word! For the New Year, many of us have outstanding goals that we aspire to achieve. Some of us wish to become healthier, some desire to acquire riches, and others hope to find love. A select few will want all of these things and that’s perfectly normal. God wants to give us our hearts purest desires so you should expect nothing but excellence during the year of 2016 and quite frankly for the rest of your life.
With that being said, there will be trying time this year as well. You’ll be faced with difficult challenges that may seem impossible to overcome and leave you feeling defeated. Remember to focus and meditate on God’s word. So often life becomes increasingly overwhelming that we forget that God will always have our backs and he has a special plan for each and every one of us. When you think you’re at the end of your rope and failure is inevitable, stop and remember that God never breaks a promise. He promised you plans for hope and a good future. God will remain true to his word.
